What is Body Stress Release
Body Stress Release (BSR) is a complementary health technique that harnesses the body’s ability to heal itself by releasing stored muscle tension (body stress).
The BSR technique has a direct effect on the nervous system, and provides gentle intervention that boosts the body’s self-healing ability and resets its natural balance.
HOW DOES BODY STRESS DEVELOP?
We are all exposed to the following stress on a daily basis.
Chemical stress
Anything toxin entering your body, e.g. air pollutants, additives in food and harmful chemicals.
Mechanical stress
Such as pushing, pulling, lifting, turning, twisting. Have to two with the daily posture.
Emotional stress
Fear, anxiety, death etc.
When the body fails to adapt effectively to stressful circumstances, stress overload is reached, and the body’s natural reaction is to tighten and contract muscles, either to protect the physical injury or in response to the release of adrenaline and chemical changes in the body.
The tension becomes locked into the body’s physical structures over time, and the accusative progression of body stress starts to exert pressure on the spina nerves, which may result in pain, numbness, muscle weakness, stiffness, distorted posture, and impaired functioning.
At first, one may just feel fatigued; later, pain, stiffness, or numbness may set in – the effect may say, but the result is a slow, gradual decline in overall health.
